First, I want to say thanks for sharing your experience. Your results are shown clearly already and I commend you for your perseverance!
I got my invisalign 2 weeks ago and the initial adaptation took a couple of days but I am feeling very comfortable with the braces and with all the extra logistics/cleaning/etc. I got 6 buttons on my teeth altogether and they all kept falling off just as soon as the doc puts them on. All in all I spent 2 hours the first and the second day the dentist's office to get the buttons on and ended up with burnt tongue and lips from the infrared light, that is used to harden the polymer of the buttons.
I just put on my 2nd pair one and one of my buttons fell of again. It appears that there is a button in your upper front incisor on the second picture that is gone on the 3rd one. Did it fall off incidentally or did the dentist remove it?
Also, my program has scheduled filing in between my teeth to make room for them and I have to get that done for my 3rd set. They say it is less than 1mm but I don't like the idea at all! Did you have to get your teeth filed as well?
I did have to get a little teeth filing, and like others, there was no paint at all. I got the filing done immediately, and I was not expecting it! The gaps still have not closed, but are getting there, so maybe not until the end! I haven't had any problem with the attachments falling off. My dentist did not put all of them on, as she said sometimes they inhibit movement. So the attachments you see in the second photo are just the aligners with a space for the attachment. I'm not wearing the aligners in the third photo. Good luck with your treatment!
